Hormone status (blood), ultrasound

What did you particularly like about the fertility clinic?

Fast appointment allocation, good accessibility (by phone, but also located in the center of the city), also weekend appointments, modern facilities.

What did you not like about the clinic?

I have cycle monitoring done there (to support home insemination). At my last visit (after I had been undergoing treatment there for some time), I had a new doctor. She talked about my “partner” even though I was there for an ultrasound to find out when the best time would be for a home insemination and told her that right at the beginning. She obviously had no idea why I was having treatment with her.

Overall, I was annoyed by the heteronormative and ill-considered use of language. For example, they called my case and what I wanted there “sexual intercourse at the optimal time”. I need a practice that doesn’t make me feel like my case is incredibly unusual, but is sensitive to the situation of a single/lesbian person who wants to have children.
